Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Chika Ike is embracing motherhood with grace and style. The actress, who announced her pregnancy in February, has been sharing her joy with her fans since welcoming her baby girl in March.
In a recent Instagram post, Chika shared heartwarming photos of herself and her newborn in matching white outfits as they stepped out for a doctor’s appointment on a snowy day. Alongside the post, she expressed gratitude to her fans for their congratulatory messages, adding,
“Doctor’s appointment on a snowy day! Thanks, sweethearts, for all the congratulatory messages. Love you, and God bless.”
Her post was met with love and admiration, with notable Nollywood colleagues and celebrities like Mercy Aigbe, Uche Ogbodo, Rachael Okonkwo, and Swanky Jerry flooding the comment section with heartfelt compliments and emojis.
Since Chika announced her pregnancy, rumors have swirled about the paternity of her child. Speculation suggested that billionaire Ned Nwoko, husband to actress Regina Daniels, was the father and planning to make Chika his seventh wife.
However, the actress swiftly debunked these claims in a lengthy Instagram post. She clarified that Ned Nwoko is not the father of her child, emphasizing that polygamy is not her path. She stated:
“I have been pregnant for months now, and no one had a clue about my pregnancy. Yet, they think they know who my child’s father is.”
Similarly, Ned Nwoko released a press statement denying any association with Chika and the paternity rumors, urging the public to disregard the claims.
Chika Ike was previously married to Tony Eberiri, but their marriage ended in 2013 amidst allegations of infidelity and domestic violence. Despite her challenges, Chika has continued to thrive in her career and personal life.
In 2022, the actress faced allegations of being romantically linked to Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and former Enugu Governor Clara Chime’s ex-wife. Journalist Jackson Ude claimed the governor gifted her a car, though the actress did not confirm or deny the reports.
