Job Description
Ability to cope with complications and uncertainties of major multidisciplinary oil and gas projects in a complex business environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Admin, Finance, or any relevant discipline.
- Seasoned professional with wide experience (15 years+) in a similar role
- Detailed knowledge of project development with a further relevant qualification e.g. MSc Construction Law, Law or Arbitration or similar with extensive knowledge and experience (10 years+) of the role of a Sr.
- Claims Consultant on oil and gas projects.
- Proven ability of successful development and negotiation of complex EPC contractual claim submissions.
- Dispute resolution and arbitration experience is considered a plus.
- Sound understanding of technical issues gained through successfully fulfilling variety of associated roles across the businesses in varied project working environments. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Able to fully take into account business and operations requirements and objective while discharging its duties of contract management and claims support.
- Experience dealing with local (Nigeria)/international clients on EPC projects.
- Experience with planning, identification, implementation, and monitoring project claims
- Service oriented attitude.
