Controversial Twitter user Daniel Regha has reignited the conversation around Davido’s unfulfilled pledge to donate 300 million Naira to orphanages across Nigeria.
In a recent tweet, Daniel pointed out that despite Davido’s promise, only a fraction of the intended beneficiaries have acknowledged receiving any funds, with less than 10 out of 427 orphanages reportedly confirming receipt.
This isn’t the first time Daniel Regha has pressed Davido on this matter. Since Davido made the commitment in 2021, Daniel has consistently reminded him to fulfill his promise, highlighting the importance of accountability in philanthropic endeavours.
While Davido’s foundation previously addressed the delay in disbursing the funds, citing challenges in locating orphanages due to relocations, Daniel’s recent tweet suggests lingering dissatisfaction with the lack of progress.
