Nigerian music star Davido is full of pride as he celebrates his father, Adedeji Adeleke, on his latest achievement.
Taking to his Instagram story, the award-winning singer revealed that his billionaire father had purchased his third private jet. Sharing the good news, Davido congratulated him and playfully teased with a caption that read:
“Congrats, daddy!! Number 3!! U dey worry!!! Congrats to the dynasty.”
The Adeleke family has long been associated with success, and this new acquisition further cements their influence.
Late last year, Davido hailed his father for embarking on a new power plant project in Nigeria, describing him as his “hero.” The singer has never hidden his admiration for his father, often sharing how Adedeji Adeleke’s guidance shaped his life and values.
Back in 2023, Davido revealed how his father once placed his education above music, even going as far as delaying his rise in the industry to ensure he graduated before pursuing his career fully. Similarly, his cousin B-Red recounted how, in their early struggles, they sold 20 televisions from the Adeleke home to raise money, highlighting how far Davido had come before fame.
In 2022, the singer penned an emotional note to his father, acknowledging him as the man who taught him humility, discipline, and the principle that wealth should never alter one’s character.
