Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa is celebrating her son, Oluwafirewamiri, as he turns one today, November 18th, 2025, sharing heartfelt moments on Instagram.
Dayo Amusa took to Instagram to post dapper photos of her son, expressing gratitude for the joy of being called his mom.
Happy Birthday OLUWAFIREWAMIRI @babyolufire. Thank you for the opportunity to be called your mom,” she wrote.
Friends and colleagues joined in celebrating the little one. Tayo Sindodo wrote, “Can your baby ever?” while Glitters Touch Makeovers added, “My baby okomi. My handsome son, love you.” Toyin Adewale also wished him long life and prosperity.
In the lead-up to his birthday, Dayo shared adorable photos of Oluwafirewamiri in Igbo attire, hailing him as Mazi Odogwu Fire. Kemi Filani reported that Dayo welcomed her baby boy in November last year, describing her joy at becoming a mother.
Throughout his first year, Dayo has regularly shared updates on his milestones. In June, she celebrated his seventh month, describing him as a “rainbow after the storm” and sharing his first words and new activities. Earlier, she marked his sixth month, noting how time flies and expressing pride in both herself and her son’s father.
At his naming ceremony, Dayo’s son’s father was notably absent, with her colleague Damola Olatunji stepping in, sparking conversations online. Responding, Dayo asked rhetorically if people’s husbands were ever missing, addressing the chatter.
Dayo has been open about her journey to motherhood, revealing past struggles, including three miscarriages and being abandoned by her ex-husband, who later fathered a child with someone else. In February, she recounted the emotional challenges she faced, including medical checkups and surgeries, and how she prayed fervently for her child.
