Nollywood actress Eve Esin has inspired many after revealing how she finally got married at 43, proving that love and divine timing know no age limits.
The actress, who is known for keeping her private life off social media, shared the good news on Instagram, testifying to God’s faithfulness. Eve explained that she got legally hitched at 43, celebrated her 44th birthday on October 17th, and then held her traditional wedding publicly on October 18th.
In her emotional post, she revealed that she had been through many trials and seasons of waiting, but God’s mercy prevailed.
“My post is to give someone who had lost hope, hope. I am not a motivational speaker but a child God showed mercy. I got legally hitched at age 43, though extremely private. The pictures will still make it here.
Clocked 44 on the 17th of October and got married traditionally and publicly on the 18th of October. To so many, the testimony I have is almost impossible.
43? Not married? Old cargo!!! Who says a thing and it comes to pass when God has not spoken?
Darling, I have been through it all. Someday I will tell my story. I thank God for never letting me lose faith in Him.”
The actress added that her story is proof that God’s timing is perfect. She joined her faith with others still waiting for their life partners, praying that God will connect them with their destined spouse.
“I join my faith with anyone that feels time is slipping by and I say delay is not denial. May God in His infinite mercy grant the desires of your heart and divinely connect you to that person that completes you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.”
In 2020, Eve was engaged but reportedly ended the relationship after things didn’t work out. After her engagement was called off, Eve faced public scrutiny and false allegations, including rumours that she was involved with a married man, a claim she never publicly addressed.
