Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has melted hearts once again after surprising her close friend and colleague, Lizzy Gold, with a generous gift of N2 million on her birthday.
Lizzy took to Instagram to share the exciting news, posting a screenshot of the credit alert alongside a heartfelt message. Expressing her shock and gratitude, she playfully asked her fans if their best friends could ever do the same.
“Can your best friend ever? People Etiko don shake my leg with 2 million naira. Please help me flood her page and thank her for me ooo! Only one Dramadol @destinyetikoofficial,” she wrote.
In her own post, Destiny Etiko showered Lizzy with love and praises, celebrating her for being a loyal and trustworthy friend. The actress revealed that even during their brief fallout, Lizzy never betrayed her or revealed any of their private conversations.
“Happy blessed birthday to the sweetest soul I’ve ever known, @lizzygoldofficial. You’re one friend I’ve said a lot to without hearing it outside. Even when we had our differences, you proved your loyalty. You loved me both in my presence and absence, and for that, I’ll always cherish you,” Destiny wrote.
She went on to pray for Lizzy’s continued success and blessings, adding,
“I pray your birthday marks the beginning of even greater things in your life. God will continue to guide, protect, and bless you in Jesus’ name. Amen. We are shutting down!”
This generous gesture comes after rumours last year that the two actresses had fallen out when Destiny unfollowed Lizzy on Instagram. The pair, however, later reconciled and proved that their friendship remains strong. Lizzy even promoted Destiny’s movie and celebrated her birthday publicly, putting all speculations to rest.
