DJ Cuppy’s father, Femi Otedola, has once again shown his soft spot for his daughter as he handed her the key to his customized car.
The billionaire businessman surprised the Nigerian disc jockey, whose real name is Florence Otedola, with access to his specially built ride. Taking to Snapchat, Cuppy shared a photo of the vehicle with the inscription “Personally built for Femi Otedola” boldly displayed.
Excited, she captioned the post, “My dad gave me his keys.”
Fans quickly flooded her comment section with mixed reactions. While some admired the gesture, others jokingly pointed out how such privileges separate her and Davido from the rest. Comments ranged from “Carry go, nothing do you” to “We brokies can’t relate o.”
This isn’t the first time Cuppy has reflected on her privileged background. Just last month, she shared how a supposed helper tried to exploit her connection to her father, teaching her a lesson that nothing comes free. She also admitted that growing up, she never realized how blessed she was because she never had to worry about basic needs—what seemed normal to her was another person’s prayer point.
Last year, the DJ also declared that she wasn’t looking for new friends, making it clear that her inner circle is reserved for family and a select few, including her mother, sisters, and heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua.
