Nigerian On-Air Personality Do2dtun has shared his frustrations about the current economic climate, noting that even begging has become increasingly difficult due to the economic downturn.

In a candid Instagram post, Do2dtun remarked, “Begging is now very hard. You will need grace and extra skill. The economy affected begging too. All the format don cast,” reflecting on how the harsh economic conditions have affected every facet of life.

In another post, Do2dtun urged his followers to acquire practical skills in addition to their education, emphasizing that relying solely on academic qualifications is no longer sufficient. “Now it’s time to develop a skill as you get an education. You need both how. Nobody will give you the barber chair now o! Find your own,” he advised.

Further lamenting the rising cost of living, Do2dtun pointed out that even the cheapest meals have become expensive. He encouraged his audience to eat purposefully and avoid food wastage, stating, “The cheapest meal is now expensive. Eat with a purpose. Don’t waste food. Food is Gold now.”

His posts resonated with many, as seen in the comments section, where followers agreed with his observations. Ojaqo Chibelly commented,

Do2dtun’s sentiments come amid other public figures voicing similar frustrations. Recently, Nkechi lamented the high cost of foodstuffs, spending N150k at a market with minimal purchases. Uche Elendu expressed outrage over the price of a crate of eggs, now N6000, questioning if the government should intervene. Likewise, Yewande Adekola Abiodun highlighted the soaring cost of Garri, once considered a staple for the less affluent, now priced at N80,000. Mary Njoku also shared her dismay over inflation during the festive period, revealing that N100k at the supermarket barely filled her trolley.
