Social media activist Martins Vincent, popularly known as Very Dark Man (VDM), has shared his excitement after receiving a substantial monetary gift from music executive Don Jazzy.
Taking to Instagram, VDM expressed his gratitude, revealing that the donation was the largest sum he has ever received in his life.
He acknowledged that Don Jazzy might prefer to keep the gesture private but felt compelled to share his joy.
“@donjazzy will not like this post; however, I don’t care what he likes at this point. DON JAZZY GAVE ME A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT HAS NEVER ENTERED MY ACCOUNT SINCE I WAS BORN @donjazzy. No vex say I talk, but this is who I am,” VDM wrote.

This is not the first time Don Jazzy has supported VDM. In October, the Mavins boss donated ₦100 million to VDM’s Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). VDM shared how Don Jazzy reached out personally, expressing trust in his transparency and belief in the cause.
VDM has previously criticized public figures, including Don Jazzy, for their philanthropic choices. In September, he questioned the donations made to crossdresser Bobrisky, suggesting that such funds could be used to address pressing societal issues like providing clean water and feeding flood victims. Despite these criticisms, Don Jazzy’s consistent acts of generosity have continued to win hearts.
