Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has penned a touching birthday message to her longtime friend and colleague, Funke Akindele, as she turns 48.
On her Instagram page, Eniola described Funke as more than just a friend, calling her a sister, playmate, gist partner, and safe place. She revealed that Funke holds a special place in her life, being one of the few who truly loves her back in ways words cannot fully explain.

The bond between Eniola and Funke has grown over the years, evolving from simple colleagues to best friends admired across Nollywood.
Just months ago, when Eniola broke down at a public event over her struggle with childbearing, Funke prayed for her and promised to throw a grand naming ceremony for her children in the future.
Though their friendship has faced public scrutiny, with rumours of a fallout in 2023 after Eniola missed Funke’s movie premiere, both actresses have consistently reaffirmed their love for each other. Funke later clarified that their busy schedules often keep them apart, but their bond remains intact.
