Eniola Badmus kicks against wishing death on anyone as she uses her voice to urge Nigerians to embrace dialogue and decency over hate and division.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Nollywood actress expressed disappointment over a social media influencer who used their platform to wish death on another person. She described the act as deeply troubling and a poor reflection of what Nigerians stand for.
“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all. No matter your political views, we must never let hate override our humanity,” she wrote.
Badmus urged citizens to seek change not through bitterness or violence, but through truth, dialogue, and unity.
“As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity – not violence or death wishes. Let’s choose decency over division.”
This isn’t the first time Eniola has spoken about national values. In a recent post from her office in Abuja, the Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives emphasized the need for Nigerians to walk in unity, pride, and purpose. She reminded citizens that the power to shape the country’s future is in their hands.
Beyond her activism, Eniola has shown consistent support for Nigerian-owned brands, encouraging people to prioritize and uplift homegrown businesses.
In May 2024, following her vocal support for President Tinubu during the elections, Eniola Badmus was appointed as Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearing to the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity and resumed official duties in July, joining top officials including Senate President Godswill Akpabio at a session at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS).
