Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has claimed they are not in the race to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
After making it known he won’t sign a contract extension, Mbappe’s future with the Ligue 1 champions is in doubt. If PSG does not part ways with the 24-year-old this year, he will become a free agent in the summer of 2024.
Real Madrid has been frequently mentioned in connection with Mbappe, and many claim that they are his ideal team.
And although City have been mentioned as a possible destination, Guardiola has said they are not interested.
“We will not sign Kylian Mbappé, he’s not joining Man City. All of you know where he wants to go,” he said.
