Sophia Momodu, the first babymama of music star Davido, received glowing compliments from her fans for her elegant look at the inauguration of Ghana’s new president, John Dramani Mahama.
The reality star attended the prestigious event with her uncle, Dele Momodu, and family. Sharing photos of her outfit on Instagram, Sophia captioned her post,
Ghanaian Presidential Inauguration with the Family.”
Sophia’s fans flooded her comment section with praises for her appearance while subtly shading Chioma, Davido’s wife.

Sophia’s appearance alongside her uncle, Dele Momodu, surprised many, given their fallout in 2023. During her online drama with Davido, Sophia unfollowed Dele after he posted a photo of Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, with Imade Adeleke to celebrate the governor’s birthday.
Despite their differences, Dele has often spoken highly of Sophia, offering prayers and urging her to tone down the public altercations with Davido. He previously affirmed her role in caring for their daughter, Imade, while hinting at unresolved issues between her and Davido.
Sophia and Davido have been locked in a bitter custody battle over their 8-year-old daughter, Imade. In the lead-up to his wedding to Chioma, Davido filed a lawsuit seeking joint custody, accusing Sophia of denying him access to their daughter and extorting money from him.
Sophia, in turn, refuted the claims, alleging that Davido abandoned Imade when she refused his advances. The drama further fueled public discussions about their co-parenting challenges.
