Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in the financial health of the organization by overseeing and managing all aspects of financial operations. This position involves strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager collaborates with various departments to provide insights and recommendations that support effective decision-making.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and manage financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide insights into key financial metrics to support strategic planning.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process.
  • Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts.

Financial Reporting:

  • Generate and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare regular reports for executive management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage and forecast cash flow to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor and optimize working capital.
  • Implement strategies for efficient cash management.

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Develop and update financial policies and procedures.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback

Financial Systems and Processes:

  • Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes.
  • Implement automation and technology solutions for efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Present financial information in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience
