FULL STACK DEVELOPER INSTRUCTOR
Supporting our students by providing feedback, mentoring, and career support
Responsibilities
- Bring the learning experience to life by building community and enhancing relevance by drawing on your own industry experience
- Supporting our students by providing feedback, mentoring and career support
- Provide all students with high-quality teaching
- Maintain knowledge of all new trends and recommend improvements to assist students in the learning/teaching process
- Perform regular assessments of students, and evaluate their performance
- Provide support and encouragement to students as they go through a life-changing experience
- Design and update all instructional materials for IT programs or courses and recommend updates to instructional materials
- Increase participant engagement using different facilitation tactics
- Give projects to students to test what has been learned
Qualification
- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or relevant fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Post NYSC experience in teaching will be an added advantage.
- You have proven experience in full stack development
- You are familiar with (most) of the focus area technologies in our curriculum, mainly: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React/NextJs, SCSS/SASS, NodeJS/ExpressJS/NestJS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, REST, Github Actions, AWS. Having knowledge of other relevant stack is a plus
- You are excited about helping people to learn
- You are good at explaining technical concepts to students
- You speak fluent English
- Previous experience of leading a team or teaching is a plus
