Nollywood star Funke Akindele rekindled her friendship with colleague Ini Edo during their junior colleague Nancy Isime’s 33rd birthday and housewarming celebration.
Nancy Isime’s milestone birthday and unveiling of her newly acquired home rocked the internet, with the event graced by Nollywood icons such as Joke Silva, Akah Nnani, Kate Henshaw, Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, Kaffy, and Abike Dabiri, among others.
Speaking at the event, Nancy shared her gratitude and excitement about starting a new chapter of her life surrounded by love and support:

Amid the celebration, Funke Akindele and Ini Edo reunited in a heartwarming moment that caught everyone’s attention. The duo was seen exchanging hugs and compliments, with Ini playfully referring to Funke as a “billionaire.” Funke, in turn, revealed how Ini had been instrumental in teaching her the importance of saving.
Their reunion comes after a brief tension in their friendship in 2022 when Funke reportedly skipped Ini Edo’s 40th birthday celebration. The rift appeared to have healed when Funke extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Ini in 2023, praying for joy, peace, and good health for her colleague.
