Nollywood star Funke Akindele has showered praises on her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, and her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, as she joined them in Tanzania for Priscilla’s grand wedding finale to Tanzanian artist Juma Jux.
Funke, along with fellow actress Jayeola Monje, received a warm welcome upon her arrival in Tanzania. In an emotional moment captured online, Iyabo greeted Funke with hugs, flowers, and a cape. Sharing clips from the welcome on her Instagram, Funke hailed Iyabo and congratulated her on the wedding.

The public display of affection between Funke and Iyabo signals a strengthened bond after their fallout years ago. Since reconciling at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), the actresses have consistently supported each other’s achievements.
When Iyabo premiered her movie Labake Olododo, Funke lauded the visuals and aesthetics, encouraging Iyabo to break boundaries.
Funke also took time to praise the bride, Priscilla Ojo, commending her beauty, intelligence, and work ethic. In an online video, Funke expressed pride in Priscilla for staying focused and steering clear of controversies. She prayed for her continued success and happiness.

Following the wedding, Funke lamented missing parts of the celebration but declared her joy for Priscilla’s achievements, including her first endorsement deal as a married woman. She described this as Priscilla’s season of winning and celebration.
