We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grants, Administration, and Finance Officer. This role will be responsible for managing grant-related activities, providing administrative support, and overseeing financial operations to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the organization.

Finance Officer Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
  • Manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and process financial transactions such as invoices, payments, and reimbursements.
  • Conduct regular financial reconciliations and assist in budget planning and monitoring.
  • Generate financial reports and provide analysis for management review.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Grants Management:
  • Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with grant guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate grant records and track progress towards grant objectives.
  • Collaborate with program managers to develop grant budgets and financial reports.
Administration:
  • Provide general administrative support to the project.
  • Manage office operations, including maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
Finance Officer Requirements:
  • This position is open preferably to a female candidate
  • Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in grant management, administration, and financial roles.
  • Strong understanding of grant funding and tax processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with donor-funded projects is desirable.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

Remuneration: NGN 350,000 – 450,000

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
