Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has claimed that the UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg clash with AC Milan on Tuesday is one of the biggest games in the Nerazurri’s history.
Inter host the second leg tomorrow night, leading 2-0 from last week’s clash. Inzaghi said,
As a coach I experience the build up to games the same way, Tomorrow is one of the biggest matches in Inter’s history. We come into it with a deserved lead, we will come out and play to the best of our abilities. You can never predict how a match will play out. There will be times when we have to defend and others we will have be going forward. We are facing a team with some quality players, who won the Scudetto last year. The advantage we have is deserved, but we will have to play a game very similar to Wednesday’s. The stakes are really high, from August to today we have worked with a dream to achieve. But there’s still a long way and tomorrow we’ll need a great game.
Inter Milan has won the Champions League three times, while AC Milan has lifted the Champions League trophy seven times. Inter Milan must win by a score line of more than two goals to progress to the finals, where they meet either Manchester City or Real Madrid.
