Popular Nigerian TikToker Jarvis has publicly called out her boyfriend, Peller, after he began pressuring her for a child following the news of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux’s pregnancy.
Earlier this week, Priscilla and her husband Juma Jux announced that they are expecting their first child, sharing beautiful maternity photos on Instagram. The news sparked widespread reactions—one of which hit close to home for Jarvis.
Responding to the announcement, Peller begged Jarvis to also take the step into motherhood, writing:
“Do this for me, I swear, you won’t regret it.”
But Jarvis wasn’t having it. She fired back, calling out the difference between their situation and that of the couple.
“Then get married abi, did you see her do it out of wedlock?” she replied.
This isn’t the first time Jarvis and Peller have been in the spotlight. Last year, Peller shared a video of his proposal to Jarvis, expressing excitement about marrying her and even tagging Davido in a celebratory comment on Instagram.
Peller rose to fame through comedic and unpredictable content on TikTok. He made bigger headlines when Tiwa Savage joined his live session with Jarvis (also known as Jadrolita), leading to a viral moment where the singer flaunted her tattoo and exposed her backside, causing Peller to react in visible shock while Jarvis cheered her on.
In a past interview, Peller shared a surprising key to his success on the app: acting like a dull person. According to him, his polished English initially brought in low views. But once he embraced a more casual and flawed persona, his TikTok Live views jumped to over 2,000. He even revealed that the biggest payday he’s ever had from the platform was a staggering ₦10 million in a single night.
