Nigerian Law Publications Limited is the leading publisher of law books in Nigeria. Her flagship product, the Nigerian Weekly Law Reports has revolutionized the practice of law in Nigeria and has never failed to come out on a weekly basis. Since 1st October 1985, the company has published 1764 parts as of 1st March 2021 and it continues in that order. Nigerian Weekly reports contain appellate courts judgment (i.e. Court of Appeal and Supreme Court decisions) which have undergone series of reporting and editing by our editors. It is used by lawyers, Justices of all courts, faculties of law in tertiary institutions, corporate organizations, and individuals who desire the knowledge of Law.
Job Description
- We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the enhancement of our online platforms.

Responsibilities
- Deliver software development tasks. Job
- Brainstorm/Research solutions on how to drive more traffic to the online platforms and SEO activities.
- Some UI/UX prototyping design work (Figma/Mock Plus RP) maybe required from time to time prior to writing code.
- Code Reviews, Bug Fixes and New Feature Implementation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Engineering, or a related field and /or any previous coding experience (i.e. personal/side projects).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Clear thinker with a drive to work on bigger projects.
- Openness to work with Legacy Code (Refactoring/Migrating).
Skills:
- PHP, Laravel 10.
- JavaScript, Vue JS 3, Bootstrap, jQuery.
- MySQL Database.
- AWS, Apache Server, Ubuntu Linux OS.
- GIT version control.
Desirable:
- Quasar Framework.
- Figma/Mock Plus RP.
- Trello.
- Docker.
Person:
- Self-starter and driven.
- Honest and transparent.
- Reports to Senior Developer.
- Willingness to learn and develop technically.
