Arsenal is close to agreeing on personal terms with Ajax defender Jurrien Timber. This is coming ahead of an improved bid for the player. Timber will reportedly make a minimum of £90,000 per week at Arsenal, with attainable add-ons bringing his pay closer to £120,000 at the Emirates. Arsenal reportedly offered £30 million for Timber, but Ajax has already rejected the offer.
According to the report, the 22-year-old will soon get a new offer from the Gunners.
This summer, Timber appears eager to leave Ajax. The defender is rumoured to seek a transfer to the North London team.
