Kanayo Kanayo Declares June as the Month of Sacrifices in Viral Instagram Post

Kanayo Kanayo, a celebrated figure in Nollywood, has once again ignited discussions with his unique flair. On his Instagram page, the veteran actor shared a video featuring him and a colleague in a striking black-and-red-themed room.

Dressed in coordinated black-and-white outfits, the pair sang and danced in what appeared to be a symbolic ritual performance.

Captioning the video, Kanayo declared, “June is for sacrifices. Sacrifices must be made. Nnanyi Sacrifice says so.”

The post drew mixed reactions from fans and colleagues alike. Comedian Kiekie commented, “Okay! Wetin dey sup?” Nollywood stars Rita Dominic and Chizzy Alichi responded with laughing emojis, while Ayo Makun teased, “Chai! Who is the next victim?”

How can we beg him to stop?” she playfully asked, inviting fans to anticipate the movie’s release on Kanayo O Kanayo TV on YouTube.

Kanayo Kanayo’s association with ritualistic roles in Nollywood remains a defining part of his illustrious career. Despite this, the actor has consistently maintained that his faith lies solely in Jesus. Speaking candidly, he affirmed that he takes on such roles for their creative merit and financial reward, stating, “I’ll continue with night sacrifices as long as they put money in my account.”

In past interviews, Kanayo revealed he doesn’t perform spiritual cleansing before portraying intense roles, such as entering a coffin. “God gave me this talent, and I trust Him to protect me,” he explained, emphasizing his professional commitment to storytelling.
