Popular actress and skitmaker Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, known as Kiekie, recently shared her mother’s touching reaction to the news of her pregnancy.
The actress, who welcomed her first child in 2022, posted on Instagram about how her mother composed a heartfelt hymn upon hearing she was going to be a grandmother. Kiekie playfully asked her followers how their own mothers might react to similar news.
Reflecting on her pregnancy, Kiekie recalled being full of energy, even dancing to Olamide’s “Durosoke” at 40 weeks pregnant, unknowingly just hours before going into labor. She shared how both she and her baby, who was eagerly “vibing” along, were preparing for her daughter’s arrival.
Since welcoming her daughter, Oluwashonaolami Olori, affectionately called NOLA, Kiekie has celebrated motherhood wholeheartedly. On her first Mother’s Day in March 2023, Kiekie expressed her gratitude and asked for divine wisdom to guide her in raising her child.
For her daughter’s first birthday, she poured her heart out, calling her “Thanksgiving baby” and the “purest teacher” in her life, vowing to keep uplifting her with powerful words.
