Nollywood actress and comedienne Lizzy Jay, popularly known as Adeyela Adebola, has clapped back at a troll who body-shamed her on Instagram. The entertainer made it clear she won’t tolerate insults from anyone, especially those who fail to “come correct.”
Lizzy Jay recently shared a screenshot of a comment left by a troll calling her “dry” under one of her posts. Unimpressed by the remark, Lizzy delivered a scathing reply, criticizing the troll’s appearance and questioning her audacity to shame others.
Addressing the troll directly, Lizzy wrote:
- “If you want to come to my page and be a troll, at least come correct. Don’t come to my page looking like a rejected sacrifice and think you can troll me.”
- She highlighted the troll’s “shapeless body” and added, “I would rather be dry than look like you.”
- Lizzy further critiqued the troll’s arms, legs, and overall appearance, stating they were “overlapping” and “miserable-looking.”
The comedienne made it clear she would not tolerate such negativity, especially from those who fail to reflect on their flaws before attacking others.
This isn’t the first time Lizzy Jay has addressed social media criticism. In the past:
- She defended celebrities against accusations of influencing fans to undergo cosmetic procedures, pointing out positive role models like Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
