Despite facing difficult moments in the past year—including the loss of her Lagos mansion to a devastating fire—Mercy remained strong and determined. She shared her experience of overcoming pain and setbacks, including a health scare during filming, where she was hospitalized after suffering severe swelling. However, she revealed that these challenges only fueled her passion for her craft and were essential to the making of Thinline.
