Sending love, strength, and prayers your way, @regina.daniels,” Mercy wrote. “You’re young, talented, and still learning and that’s okay. Keep your head high, keep growing, and never lose your beautiful spirit.”

In a related post, actress Mercy Johnson publicly demanded the release of Regina’s brother, Sammy West, who was reportedly arrested and moved from Lagos to Abuja. Expressing concern, she said, “The worst form of injustice is pretended justice. A child was arrested, and no one has been allowed to see him. How did we get here? Free Samuel Ojeagwu.”
Several Nollywood stars have also spoken out.

The controversy began when Regina Daniels accused her husband, Ned Nwoko, of domestic abuse. In a viral video, she tearfully said she no longer felt like a queen in her own home. Ned responded with a public statement accusing her of drug and alcohol abuse and of attacking domestic workers.
Her siblings, including Sammy West, Sweezzy, and Destiny Daniels, have since defended her. Destiny even shared photos of alleged injuries Regina sustained, insisting her sister has not reconciled with Ned.
