Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed, are expecting their second child. The award-winning singer confirmed the news on Instagram with stunning maternity photos, expressing gratitude to God for adding to their joy and blessing them with another baby.
Days after rumours surfaced about her pregnancy, Mercy Chinwo has confirmed she is expecting baby number two. Sharing beautiful photos from her maternity shoot, the singer joyfully announced that “the Lord has done it again,” multiplying their laughter and blessing them with the precious gift of a second child.
The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy, multiplied our laughter, and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby. We declare: His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed. Welcome, our precious gift,” she wrote.
Mercy also praised her husband, calling him “an amazing father of two” and thanking God for His goodness in their lives.
The announcement comes just a day after the couple marked their third wedding anniversary. In her anniversary message, Mercy reflected on three years of love, grace, countless memories, and God’s purpose guiding their marriage. She expressed her excitement for many more years of love, laughter, and kingdom impact.
Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed tied the knot in a star-studded wedding on August 12–13 in her hometown, Port Harcourt, attended by celebrities like Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Waje, Chigurl, and Joe Praiz.
