Nigerian sketch maker and performer, Mr Macaroni, has taken to Twitter to shed light on the ongoing disagreement between Davido and Burna Boy.
This move comes after Mr Macaroni engaged in an online altercation with a troll claiming allegiance to Davido.
Previously, Mr Macaroni voiced his disapproval of a video showing Davido’s bodyguard, Lati, allegedly striking a supporter of the artist. Despite this, a Davido fan criticized Mr Macaroni for not addressing Burna Boy’s statement regarding veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem’s health.
Responding to the fan’s accusations, Mr Macaroni clarified that he refrains from engaging in fandom wars on Twitter. He reiterated that his initial essay was aimed at defending a mistreated Nigerian and was not meant to incite further controversy.
Additionally, Mr Macaroni expressed his admiration for Davido, questioning whether the troll’s loyalty to the singer matched his own fervent support.
