The Head of the Federation’s Civil Service, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, has stated that a new Nigeria would emerge when God completes the work he has begun with the Civil Servants.

Yemi-Esan made the remarks at the 2023 Special Thanksgiving Service, which marked the end of the 2023 Civil Service Week weekend in Abuja.

While praising God for the reforms in public service, she stated that public workers have shown incredible endurance and hard work in ensuring that Nigeria gets it right via passionate execution of the service reform objectives inherent in the FCSSIP25.

She urged Civil Servants to devote themselves to God and enable Him to alter their professions.

While praying for and blessing the Civil Servants, the Church’s Pastor, Pastor Kunle Shoyele, appealed to them to utilise their good offices to touch people’s lives.

He also warned them against bringing their problems to work, calling it fruitless and destructive.

Permanent Secretaries, Directors, the OHCSF’s Choir, and a cross-section of Federal Civil Servants from MDAs were all in attendance.
