Nigerian-born midfielder Tim Akinola joined Arsenal as a pro from Huddersfield Town in August 2020. The subsequent season witnessed Tim Akinola embarking on a short-term loan spell with Dundee United, further honing his abilities and gaining valuable experience.
Last season saw Tim feature for National League side, Chesterfield on a season-long loan where he made 31 appearances in all competitions, helping them reach the play-off final at Wembley.
The 22-year-old has never made a senior appearance for Arsenal, and now seems set to leave the club permanently, heading to Qatar, and is set to be unveiled by his new club after signing a three-year contract
