Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing recently graced the anniversary of Laura Ikeji’s beauty store, expressing her admiration for the businesswoman and sister of popular blogger Linda Ikeji.
In an Instagram post sharing highlights from the event, Nkechi praised Laura as a significant inspiration in her life, marking the occasion with heartfelt words.
The actress also revealed that the standout moment of the night was receiving a generous gift from renowned skincare expert Susan Chanel Beauty. She wrote,

My highlight of the night was the very big gift I got from the skincare guru herself, @susanchanelbeauty. Eyen Ekanmi Abasi Udiong, thank you so much. The celebration came in light of some unfortunate events in the industry. Laura recently shared the distressing news of her beauty store burning down while she was tending to her youngest child at night. Despite the loss, she expressed gratitude, noting that material possessions can be replaced.
Laura is not alone in facing setbacks; actress Uche Ogbodo also suffered significant losses, losing two stores—one to flooding and another due to government demolition. She took to Instagram to share her pain, reflecting on the months of hard work, dedication, and prayer that went into building her brand, now lost in an instant. Uche’s husband has been a source of strength for her during this challenging time, as they navigate their respective losses together.
