Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has once again found herself in the spotlight after her unconventional giveaway question stirred reactions on Instagram.
The actress announced a ₦100,000 giveaway, asking her fans to guess how many countries she had visited this year, name the countries, and state how many times she had been to each.
Long time no giveaway. Guess how many countries I have been to this year alone, mention the countries and how many times I have been to each of the countries this year,” she posted.
Among the many responses, a fan, identified as Celegold Folami, guessed Qatar, Cape Town, Equatorial Guinea, Canada, and South Africa. Nkechi replied in a witty tone, questioning if the fan had bought her ticket to Equatorial Guinea:
Na you buy me ticket to Equatorial Guinea?”
Nkechi’s response sparked a wave of comments from her followers. Many found the giveaway question overly challenging, with some humorously likening it to an exam question.

- Another fan wrote, “Since you employ jobless monitoring spirit to dey monitor your trip, give her the giveaway.”

This isn’t the first time Nkechi has engaged in heated exchanges with fans. From addressing unsolicited marriage prayers to defending her love life, Nkechi has a history of standing her ground.
A few weeks ago, she shut down a fan who prayed for her to get married before her next birthday. Nkechi questioned the assumption that everyone wants to be married. Similarly, she dismissed another fan’s comment that she seemed more productive when single, retorting that they would never understand what being in love meant.
Despite past controversies, Nkechi has emphasized her personal growth. Recently, she shared that she is focused on self-improvement and living a peaceful life.
“Who I am becoming is much more important than who I’ve been,” she stated, adding that she stays in her bubble, minds her business, and continues to thrive.
