Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday is marking a special day as her younger sister, Ijeoma Jennifer Sunday, celebrates her 25th birthday today, September 29th.
Taking to her Instagram page, Nkechi shared stunning photos of Ijeoma, describing her as the “mummy of the house” and reflecting on the joy she has brought to their family.
Wishing her sister a happy birthday, Nkechi expressed gratitude for Ijeoma’s presence in their lives over the last 25 years. She prayed for her to age gracefully, writing:
On this day 25 years ago, you came into our lives, and since that day up until today, you have been nothing but a blessing. Happy, beautiful birthday to my mother’s last child, the mummy of the house. I got you for life, Ijeoma. Age gracefully. @achalugo_nma”.
Nkechi Blessing has always been a supportive big sister, especially after their mother’s passing. In 2021, when Ijeoma turned 22, Nkechi shared her mixed emotions over the birthday, noting how they were now orphans, with only God and each other. Despite their loss, she promised to always be there for her sister.
In 2020, Nkechi’s love for Ijeoma was evident when she gifted her a car. Ijeoma shared the exciting news on Instagram, thanking her sister for the thoughtful gift. Speaking to City People, Ijeoma praised Nkechi for being more than just a sister, calling her a friend, mum, and a supportive figure who had set her up in business and ensured she never lacked anything.
