Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has taken a sharp dig at colleague Destiny Etiko following an awkward incident at Ruby Ojiakor’s wedding.
The wedding of filmmaker Moc Madu and Ruby Ojiakor was star-studded, with guests including Angela Okorie, Destiny Etiko, Luchy Donalds, Lizzy Gold, Queeneth Hilbert, and others.
During the reception, a viral clip showed Destiny on the dance floor spraying money on the couple. As Angela took the stage to perform, Destiny abruptly walked away with bundles of cash, creating an awkward moment.
In response, Angela took to Instagram, posting clips from the event with a pointed message:
When light walks in, darkness disappears. Light and Darkness have nothing in common. I am light, and when I walk into a place, my presence overshadows every evil. Legit queen for a reason. Anticipate #queenofguns. Congratulations to the newest couple in town.”
This public shot comes amid a history of feuds Angela has had with fellow Nollywood stars. In 2023, she openly criticized Kate Henshaw for allegedly badmouthing her, accused Uche Elendu of violating her privacy, and called out Anita Joseph and others for controversial reasons. Angela also had public fallouts with Zubby Michael and Regina Daniels, and more recently accused Mercy Johnson and her mother of witchcraft, sparking widespread reactions.
