Nollywood actresses Chizzy Alichi and Laide Bakare have ignited a public feud, airing their grievances on social media in a heated exchange.
It all began when Laide Bakare took to her Instagram to accuse Chizzy Alichi of intimidating her during a rehearsal and providing a nasty reaction when she asked for something. Laide, in a video on her Instagram page, expressed her intention to confront Chizzy, stating,
I’m coming for you. This year I no dey gree for anybody.”
In response, Chizzy suggested that Laide was jealous of her, referencing moments on set where she perceived Laide eyeing her. The exchange quickly escalated as Laide fired back, calling Chizzy a jealous b*tch and warning her not to try any nonsense with her.
Chizzy retaliated with a threat, stating that she would trace Laide’s house and beat her like a child. The feud continued with both actresses exchanging harsh words on Instagram.
Laide Bakare expressed her disappointment, noting that she used to respect Chizzy but now considers her a “very stupid person.” In return, Chizzy labeled Laide as senseless and warned her not to utter another word, threatening physical harm.
