Nollywood is in mourning following the passing of renowned producer and marketer Ikechukwu Nnadi, popularly known as Andy Best.
The industry icon succumbed to a prolonged illness at a private clinic in Owerri, Imo State, on Tuesday, March 19th.
The sad news was confirmed by Seun Oloketuyi, Convener of the Best Nollywood Awards, who announced Andy Best’s demise on Instagram. His passing has left a profound impact on the film community, with many expressing their grief and paying tribute to his contributions.

Andy Best’s body has been laid to rest at the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri, marking the end of an era for Nollywood. His passing comes as yet another loss for the industry, following recent deaths of other prominent figures like Yoruba actor Sisi Quadri and veteran actor Mr Ibu.
