Nollywood actress Adunni Ade recently voiced her frustrations with the delivery service, InDrive, after one of their drivers allegedly absconded with her package. In a social media post, Adunni shared the details of the unfortunate incident.
She wrote:
@indrive.ng I have been trying to reach you for hours, but there has been no response. One of your drivers has stolen my package. He ended the trip before arriving at my location and has refused to answer my calls. He initially contacted me, stating that he was at my estate and needed an access code, which I promptly sent him.
Almost 30 minutes passed, and he still hadn’t shown up, so I reached out to the sender, @atuchewoman, who confirmed that the package had been delivered. I immediately informed her this was not true and decided to call the driver myself.
He claimed the wrong address was entered, but I assured him this was impossible, as the sender is someone who regularly delivers to me. When I questioned him about ending the trip prematurely, he stopped answering my calls. His name is Francis Njoku—everyone, please call this thief!
@indrive.ng, I have been waiting for hours for a response! Your driver has run off with my package! Please respond, or things will escalate further.”
Adunni Ade’s post has sparked conversations online as many sympathize with her, while others express concerns about the safety of using ride-hailing and delivery apps.
