Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill marked Father’s Day with a heartfelt celebration, yet it was not without controversy.

Taking to Instagram, Churchill shared a video featuring moments with three of his children—his first daughter and two children with his wife, actress Rosy Meurer. Alongside the video, he declared himself the “Father of the Year” and encouraged fans to dream big.

In his post, Churchill wrote:

Happy Father’s Day to me. I’m surely the Father of the year. Dream big, little one.”

The tribute notably excluded his first son, King Andre, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh. Fans were quick to call him out in the comments section, questioning why King Andre was not included.

Some of the comments read:

  • “Your first son is not on video. It is well, Happy Father’s Day.” – Charitygold53

  • “Ur first son no be ur child again?” – Nikkiscentegy_backup

  • “He posted his first son on Children’s Day, guys. He knows what he’s doing. He’s avoiding problems.” – Gifted_kollectionz

The exclusion comes as a surprise, given that Churchill publicly celebrated all his children on Children’s Day, calling them his “precious jewels.” Despite ongoing co-parenting challenges, Churchill has consistently expressed love and pride for King Andre.

In February, Churchill celebrated King Andre’s birthday with a heartfelt message, praising his son’s intelligence and kindness while affirming his unwavering support and love.

Last year, Tonto Dikeh accused Churchill of being a “deadbeat father,” claiming he only acknowledged their son on his birthday. She alleged that Churchill and his family falsely claimed victory in their custody battle, whereas she was granted full custody.

Churchill refuted these claims, sharing an audio conversation where Tonto purportedly restricted his access to their son. He also disclosed incidents where gifts he sent for King Andre were reportedly destroyed by Tonto.
