In a follow-up post, Opeyemi admitted she couldn’t sleep, her heart was heavy, and the tears wouldn’t stop. She recalled begging the person during their last conversation not to give up, not to give her a reason to cry, and not to let death win.
Your pictures are too beautiful and special to be uploaded with RIP. Some people believe praying for the departed is worthless, but not me. I will keep praying for your sweet soul,” she wrote, fondly calling the deceased “mini-me.”
The actress described the loss as piercing her heart deeply and promised to keep their memory alive.
