In a stern warning posted on her Instagram account, Mama G cautioned against disseminating false information without verification, emphasizing the consequences for those responsible.
Don’t say I said, saw, did what never happened. Don’t carry fake news just to get views. Have a conscience. Life is too short. Live it well. Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with any deliverance story going around social media. Those responsible will face prosecution. If you don’t see it on my verified platforms or hear it from me, then it is probably a lie,” Mama G wrote, asserting her stance.
This warning comes amidst the proliferation of misinformation on social media platforms and serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible journalism and ethical conduct online.
