Nigerian talent manager Paulo Okoye has made a heartfelt plea to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Aliko Dangote, and the NNPCL CEO to reduce the escalating price of petroleum in the country.
Amid the ongoing fuel scarcity and skyrocketing costs, Paulo urged them to show their love for Nigerians by lowering the fuel price to ₦450 per litre.Taking to social media, Paulo emphasized that he wasn’t demanding but rather appealing to them to consider the hardships faced by everyday Nigerians. His message was simple yet impactful:
Our President
Oga Aliko Dangote
NNPCL CEO
If you believe you love Nigerians,
You should reduce the price of petroleum to ₦450.
Grandpa Paulo

Paulo Okoye is not alone in expressing concern over the fuel price hike. Several Nigerian celebrities have spoken out about the increasing cost of living and economic challenges.
Destiny Etiko recently questioned what was happening in the country as fuel prices continued to soar. She expressed her disappointment, stating that she had hoped recent protests would alleviate some of the economic burdens.
Lizzy Gold also voiced her frustration, revealing that petrol prices had reached ₦1000 per litre in some areas. In addition to rising fuel costs, she highlighted how the price of foodstuffs had skyrocketed, making it difficult for people to survive. She appealed to President Tinubu to take action.
Saidi Balogun questioned the lack of a functional price control or regulatory agency to manage the situation, noting that inflation was spiraling out of control.
Paulo Okoye has long been an advocate for the resilience and patience of Nigerians. In June, he described Nigeria as one of the most patient countries in the world, where citizens continue to smile and persevere through daily hardships. He noted that the government often takes advantage of this patience.
Supporting this sentiment, Destiny Etiko also praised Nigerians for their ability to endure difficult times while maintaining hope and positivity. She declared Nigerians as VIPs for their strength and patience amid challenging circumstances.
With celebrities and citizens alike voicing their concerns, the call for action grows louder, urging leaders to alleviate the economic hardship and bring relief to the people.
