Controversial singer Portable and Nollywood actor Ijoba Lande are in a heated exchange following a song Portable released about Lande’s marital struggles.
Ijoba Lande, in a viral video, condemned Portable for exploiting his personal life in a song. He reminded the singer of his own public outcry over marital issues and vowed that Portable would face repercussions.
Portable, I see what you’re doing, using my story to sing. You will pay for it. When one of your wives was involved in an incident, you cried online, and now you’re using my pain for music. Don’t worry,” Lande said in anger.
Portable, known for his unapologetic style, released the song titled Truth or Dare. In response to Lande’s comments, Portable mocked the actor, mentioning how others disrespected Lande’s marriage yet received gratitude instead of confrontation.
The feud has garnered reactions online, with clips circulating widely and fueling the ongoing drama.
Lande’s marital troubles previously made headlines when he accused Baba Tee of destroying his marriage. The actor revealed his wife left him in January 2025, and they had been estranged for months. Baba Tee later admitted to having an affair with Lande’s wife, citing intoxication as a factor and apologizing publicly.
Actress Bimpe Akintunde showed her support for Lande, calling him a good man who deserves better. She encouraged him to trust in better days and consider forgiving Baba Tee.
