Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has taken legal action after he and his older sister were physically assaulted by some former friends. The singer shared a series of posts on his Instagram Stories. One of them features a photo of his sister in the hospital.
He stated that the police will be picking up the culprits responsible for the attack.
In his posts, Portable claimed that he and the attackers used to be friends. However, they became envious of his success and turned on him. He also revealed that he was severely injured in the altercation. On the other hand, his sister was hospitalized as a result of the assault.
The musician expressed his shock and disappointment at the betrayal by his former friends, cautioning that as one’s success grows, one should be wary of those who may not have their best interests at heart.
In a later post, Portable shared that he had taken legal action and briefed his lawyer on the incident.
