Controversial NigeriaPortable, Zinoleesky, feud, diss track, Ferrari, music industry, Nigerian singersn singer Portable has once again stirred up controversy, this time taking aim at his senior colleague Zinoleesky over a video showcasing the latter cruising around town in a Ferrari.
Portable didn’t hold back as he criticized Zinoleesky for splurging on an expensive sports car without having a hit song to his name.
He’s driving a Ferrari when he’s not blown, you’re supposed to sell the car and use the money for promo. He doesn’t have a hit song and he’s driving a Ferrari. How much is Ferrari? If they had fixed these Sango roads, I would buy it. What haven’t I seen? See someone with one car disturbing the area, what should someone like me with several cars now do? Me that I buy new cars every month?”.
Not stopping at verbal jabs, Portable went a step further and released a diss track aimed at Zinoleesky, adding fuel to the fire of their ongoing feud.
This clash is just one in a series of confrontations Portable has had with his industry peers. Last year, he took shots at Seyi Vibez over the latter’s G-Wagon Brabus and perceived lack of class, prompting a retaliatory response from Seyi Vibez that solidified his standing in the music scene.
Portable also clashed with rapper Goya Menor, dubbing him “unpopular” after Goya won the Best Street Hop category at the 2022 Headies Awards, a category from which Portable was disqualified. Goya hit back, asserting his superiority in the industry, but Portable didn’t back down, challenging Goya’s musical prowess and questioning the legitimacy of his award.
The Nigerian music scene is no stranger to such confrontations, with artists frequently engaging in public spats that often spill over into diss tracks and social media exchanges. As the feud between Portable and Zinoleesky intensifies, fans eagerly await the next chapter in this ongoing drama.
