Nigerian Singer, Portable has been released on bail from an Ogun State magistrate court in the Ifo, Ifo local government area. Recall that on Friday, March 31, 2023, police arrested the Zazu singer following a dramatic Thursday night incident at his bar.
He was then charged in court on April 3 with three counts involving assault and the theft of musical instruments. The offenses were bailable, according to Magistrate A.S. Shoneye, who ruled on his attorney’s motion for release. The judge authorized a portable bond of N300,000 with two sureties in the same amount. The court ruled that both sureties had to be property owners nearby.
The judge did decide that He should go to the Ilaro Correctional Facility while his parole requirements are been fulfilled, and the singer successfully met the requirements for his release on bond.
He posted a live Instagram video to share his experience. In the video, he claimed that God had put him in jail to keep him safe from evil. He also claimed to have learned valuable lessons.
