Joy continues to flow in the Ojo household as Priscilla Ojo unbox baby items in a heartwarming video shared online. The Nigerian influencer and daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo revealed that she filmed the clip a week before going into labour.
In the video, Priscilla unwrapped luxury gifts for her baby boy, Rakeem, while explaining that she had planned a second part to unveil the car seat and strollers sent by her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. However, their son decided to make his grand entrance earlier than expected.
I shot this video a week before I went into labour, and I couldn’t finish recording Part 2… but my Starboy decided to arrive earlier than expected,” she shared.
Priscilla and Juma welcomed their first child on August 24, just weeks after announcing their pregnancy with stunning maternity photos. Since then, the couple has shared glimpses of their journey, from a gender reveal in Tanzania to a lavish baby shower in Canada hosted by her mother, Iyabo Ojo.
While Priscilla remains in Canada with her baby, Juma revealed he is yet to join them due to delays in securing his Canadian visa. Priscilla openly appealed to the embassy to hasten the process, saying she and their newborn miss him dearly.
Despite the distance, Juma celebrated his son’s birth with friends and proudly declared himself “Rakeem’s Dad” on Instagram. Priscilla also praised her husband, describing him as the best thing that ever happened to her, while appreciating him for writing a special song for their baby boy.
The new mum has continued to receive love and support, including a Gucci diaper bag from her close friend, Chioma Ikokwu (Chioma Good Hair), whom she fondly called her son’s “Rich Aunty.”
