Former Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Queen Mercy Atang, has extended warm congratulations to Toke Makinwa while offering a touching prayer for women trying to conceive.

The reality star attended Toke’s daughter Yaya’s dedication ceremony on Sunday, November 2, an event that drew several high-profile guests including Shade Okoya, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Eke, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and his wife, Ruth Kadiri, Mercy Aigbe, Priscilla Ojo, Eniola Badmus, Uche Montana, and Brodashaggi.

Sharing photos of herself and the proud new mum on Instagram, Queen expressed her joy for Toke, describing motherhood as a “beautiful and priceless journey.” She prayed that God would bless all expecting mothers and those praying for the fruit of the womb with the same joy.

“Congratulations, Mommy Yaya @tokemakinwa. Motherhood is such a beautiful and priceless journey. To every expecting mother and everyone praying to conceive, may God bless you with this precious, life-changing experience in His perfect time, Amen.”

The post, which Queen later deleted, earned her praise from followers who appreciated her show of love and compassion.

In recent months, several Nigerian celebrities have also shared words of encouragement and prayers for TTC (Trying To Conceive) mothers. Actress Nkechi Blessing urged women to “dress like their miracle” while sharing photos of herself with a fake baby bump. Similarly, Toyin Abraham prayed for awaiting mothers, saying her DMs were filled with emotional messages from women longing for children.

Yoruba actress Biodun Okeowo also declared that this year “shall not pass awaiting mothers by,” while Biola Bayo, who welcomed her child via surrogacy in 2023, prayed that every waiting mother would soon experience eternal joy.

Likewise, Mercy Aigbe and Toyin Lawani have both taken moments to intercede for women hoping to conceive, acknowledging the deep emotional and physical struggles many face in silence.
