Queen Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, has sparked reactions online with beautiful photos shared in honor of her son, Tadenikawo, who turned four on Tuesday.
Taking to Instagram, Queen Naomi posted heartwarming photos of herself and her son twinning in regal outfits. She described her son as a testament to God’s unfailing love, writing:
“Omo oba Tadenikawo Adesoji Aderemi Eri-ifeoluwasimi Ogunwusi @ooniadimulaife (You are a testament of God’s unfailing love). My darling omo onife Abure.”
The striking photos, which portrayed Queen Naomi in her royal attire, stirred speculation among fans. One fan, Mercy James, commented,
“From the way Queen Naomi is dressed, that means she and the King are back. Am so happy. HBD my lovely Tadenikawo omo oba.”
Other fans praised the birthday celebrant’s regal demeanor and resemblance to his father, the Ooni of Ife. Comments such as “The resemblance is fire” and “So so regal. Omo Oba” flooded the post.Last year, the Ooni and Queen Naomi reunited to celebrate Tadenikawo’s 3rd birthday at the palace. Similarly, the pair were recently spotted together with their son at a project opening in Akure, Queen Naomi’s hometown.
Despite their public appearances, Queen Naomi has ruled out the possibility of returning to the palace following their separation in December 2022. Reflecting on her marriage, she admitted that while there were sweet moments, she also faced significant challenges.
The Ooni, who now has six wives and three additional children, previously opened up about the criticism he faced after his marriage to Queen Naomi ended. He shared that people mocked him for being a king without a queen, but he found solace in his faith. He noted that his prayers were answered, and he is now blessed with a large family.
